Introducing sala khaoyai

On 16 November 2009 the exciting new sala khaoyai resort, in picturesque Khao Yai, Thailand, just a 2 hour drive outside of Bangkok, will open for business. sala khaoyai is the 3rd SALA property, following in the footsteps of the extremely popular SALA Samui Resort and Spa, and SALA Phuket Resort and Spa.

Consisting of only 7 very private guest rooms, villas and suites, 4 of which have their own private swimming pool, sala khaoyai is the first property of a new, "small exclusive boutique property" brand for SALA group.

Perched dramatically on a scenic hilltop above the lush, green Khao Yai countryside, sala khaoyai has been made even more lush and green by the planting of over 5,000 new trees on the site. All rooms have breathtaking views across the gently sloping hills and valleys of beautiful Khao Yai.

Inspired by natural surroundings, the stunning resort design combines modern facilities and amenities with an abundance of natural materials which produce a country style feeling with a hint of safari atmosphere. All Pool Villas and Pool Villa suites also have fireplaces for those chilly, but romantic evenings!

The resort introduces the enchanting sala hilltop restaurant and bar, with panoramic 360 degree views of the surrounding area, and featuring the chef's private vegetable garden, where a variety of organic vegetables and hot local chillies will be grown and served fresh daily.
