The very cool, urban chic sala rattanakosin restaurant and bar opens
SALA Hospitality Group announces the opening of sala rattanakosin restaurant and bar at the chic & stylish sala rattanakosin Bangkok.
At sala rattanakosin Bangkok, the culinary concept is quite simple, delicious Thai food cooked to an authentic taste supported by an accompaniment of International favourites with a recognisable Mediterranean flare. Served in a contemporary urban shop house design offering, without question, the finest views of Bangkok’s most iconic monuments. The extensive menu selection contains many popular dishes featured regularly on Thai meal tables.
Recommended dishes include the Chuu Chee Ruam Mitr, a selection of local seafood in a delicious aromatic dry red chili curry, with coconut cream and kaffir lime. Or the Yam Mamuang Puu Nim Tod, soft shell crab in a light tempura batter over a fresh green mango salad. After all, sitting comfortably on the banks of the Chao Phraya river it only makes sense to sample local seafood prepared in rich Thai flavours.
International highlights include the light and tantalising Gazpacho soup, an ideal Spanish tomato based soup served cold to provide relief and refreshment from a day of touring temples in the Bangkok heat. Also proving popular is The Twice Cooked Crispy Pork Belly, fusing Asian and Western flavours with a tamarind glaze, roast pumpkin puree and an apple and ginger marmalade.
Chef Tony Wrigley explains, “being situated in the heart of old Bangkok, surrounded by the city's must see cultural attractions, we wanted to provide visitors to the kingdom an opportunity to sample some of Thailand’s most popular dishes in a clean, hygienic environment. We have a young, talented Kitchen team who work to prepare all Thai dishes, to Thai taste. We pride ourselves on not compromising on flavour, to reduce spice or adapt to more western tastes.”
