If you are looking for some good shopping but want to get out of the overpriced shopping centers, then you should check out one of the Phuket Town Night Markets. The best of the bunch is likely the weekend market located somewhat near the Central Festival. Thalang National Museum is situated on Pa Khlok Road, to the east of the Two Heroines Monument. This museum gives an insight into Phuket's colorful history. Kata viewpoint is one of the most frequented viewpoints in Phuket. From here, it is possible to take in views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai and Karon beaches. Phuket has a large percentage of Chinese residents descended from those who emigrated from southern China a few centuries ago to work in the tin mine business as coolies. The tour commences through mountain forests and continues through grasslands. From the vans, the nightly animal world is illuminated by special halogen lights. You will encounter a range of animal including deer, felines, porcupines (and with a little luck) wild elephants at the salt licks. 

First point at Pak Chong gateway, built in 1962 is situated at KM 24 on Thanarat Road. Buddhists always stop and pay their respects and receive blessings at the shrine

KM 30 of Thanarat Road. This point looks northwards into the park, providing a view of the beautiful forested mountains. 

This viewpoint is 14 kms from the park headquarters and a short walk off the road to Khao Kiew Summit. You can enjoy the short walk through moist evergreen forest. The weather is normally cool at all the year round due to the altitude. Trees and rocks near the viewpoint are dorned with moss and lichen. 

Nong Pak Chee – this tower is situated at the edge of grassland, adjacent to the Nong Pak Chee reservoir. A saltlick visible from the tower also attracts wildlife to the location. Access to the tower from the road at KM. 35-36 and follow a well-marked track for 1 km. through the grassland.

A well-known waterfall where the water runs over a 20 m cliff into a large pool below. In the rainy seasons the volume of water increases greatly and it runs fast and cool.

Haew Narok Waterfall is a 3 tiered waterfall in the South of Khaoyai and is the biggest waterfall in the park. The water tumbles 60m off the top tiers, before falling straight down off the 2^nd and 3 tiers, which lie close to each other. Altogether the creek level drops by 150m. 

Kluoi Mai Waterfall the waterfall is a medium-size waterfall, also caused by Huy Lam Takong (Lam Takong Stream), which has Wai Dang (Red Orchid) grow on its cliff and be the symbol of its area, the waterfall is situated 7km from Khaoyai National Park Office and can be reached by car and walking.

Klong Kaew Waterfall a quite low waterfall, caused by Huy Lam Takong (Lam Takong Stream), the border between Nakorn Nayok Province and Nakhorn Si Thamarat Province, which is beautiful and suitable for playing water especially in rainy season. The waterfall is situated 100 meters from Khaoyai National Park office and Travelling Service Center.
